Swandive是瑞士的一个trip hop乐队，该乐队也有一个女主音，但我不想用post trip hop乐队的头衔来形容，实在无聊的很。不过女主音的声音实在太普通，平庸的以致于可以忽略。虽然你也可以用甜美，清爽诸如此类形容词来形容她的声音，但这类声音在现在到处可见的女声乐队里一抓一大把，太相似的声音也就等于失去了自己的个性。如果从配器来说，也有downbeat，缓重的节奏，加上女声，似乎是最中规中距的trip hop模式。但致命伤也就出来了：就是因为一切都太中规中距所以反而无法体现一个乐队的个性，如果你听过大量类似的所谓玩trip hop的乐队，尤其是有女主音的乐队之后再来听Swandive就马上会感到厌倦。
而且这个乐队太注重旋律，且喜欢用传统摇滚乐器（尤其是bass）和铉乐伴奏，如果再抽掉downbeat，简直和一般泡泡糖音乐没什么区别，而且女主音似乎更适合做流行音乐。
所以在网上查他们乐队的资料时候，我看到一个家伙只用了一个词语来形容这个乐队，却一语道破了天机：Very easy trip hop！

我的碟感
《Intuition》
left一上来就用重叠的铉乐来做铺垫，加上ann kathrin luthi的高音，在刻意营造一种飘渺气氛，好在回声效果的downbeat紧跟而上总算让我有耐心听完。
Demunication一开始让我恍惚以为是Autechre：类似双手揉搓雪团的吱吱声以及电视机里的杂音，之后马上是极有层次感和空间感的鼓机以及交错重叠的迷幻BASS。在中段还有一段单独播放的处理的很空旷的鼓机声，类似工地上的打桩声，但处理的十分美妙。这个开头非常别致而实验，一听就难以忘记。中间的ann kathrin luthi声音还是可以忽略不记，多多享受背后的鼓机和纠葛的BASS声吧！唯一遗憾的是在后段削弱了鼓机声加强了BASS声，不再有了一开始的强烈冲击压迫感。
Nutopian Days开始是abyss十分喜欢的一段bass的solo，之后照例是来回旋转的鼓机声。值得一提的是ann kathrin luthi的这次在高音和假音的处理上，总算比之前有点特色，听来还算能接受。当然抽掉鼓机的话就是一个很适合打榜的典型流行单曲了。
If I Scream一开头的采样暂且不提，到是后面的略微带点进攻性的鼓机声相比较之前的回旋的鼓机声有了新意和创新。 在后半段还有一大段的吉他噪音，shoegazing？
The Game贯穿到底类似拔气门的效果处理的很有趣。
Losing My Religion 的开头总让我想起《the big blue》电影里的音乐，不知道为什么。当中的鼓机更加地重，而且加了点杂音和低音处理，使得鼓机的份量比之前的都要足一点。
（类似你到哈根达斯买了一个特大号的冰激凌，份量自然就相比其他的冰激凌都要足一点。我靠！哪有这样比喻的。）
Bathroom Pain上来一阵类似汽笛声之后立马涌出气势汹汹的downbeat节奏，ann kathrin luthi也特意做了效果处理，扭曲压抑的声线立刻使我条件反射想到了full blown kirk惯用的伎俩。
Finally 开端的气氛营造的相当不错，很有电影画面感。之后的鼓机声忽而叮咚作响发出悦耳的声音，忽而低迷徘徊显现出压抑颓靡的特征。ann kathrin luthi的声音在这个单曲又有了变化，神经质不带丝毫情感的半念白半吟唱使整个曲子更加地诡异神经质起来。在曲子后半段突然加入的工业实验噪音配合着低沉的downbeat，辅之以ann kathrin luthi不断重复吐出的一个个类似咒语般的单词，凸显出一派黑暗幽闭的trip hop典型特征。整支曲子紧凑黑暗，值得推荐！
As You Are 乃平庸之作，不提也罢。
Innocent照例还是开头一个采样做铺垫之后引出鼓机声，这次的鼓机声可以用四个字形容：铿锵作响。这个曲子里的鼓机的声音可以和cup of tea旗下的主力成员monk & canatella的那种鼓机声相媲美。属于那种一听就上瘾欲罢不能的down beat节奏。这种类型的鼓机声注重的是明亮欢快的节奏，并且可以清晰地辨认出镲的声音。正是镲的频繁交叉的在里面的运用使得这种类型的trip hop不再幽闭黑暗，而呈现出完全相反的欢快明亮的质感。 而且这种节奏的鼓机往往会在几个小节循环之后突然放慢速度有个间歇的停滞重复的敲打声，我是最钟情于几个小节循环之后这时的突然停滞重复敲打之声了，这个时候的感觉就是好比在做过山车，正要从顶峰准备往下垂直冲下的一个突然安静停滞的时空段里的兴奋紧张的感觉。Innocent里ann kathrin luthi的尾音请特别关注一下下，是不是有点类似cranberries的Dolores O'Riordan的声音特征呢？在2：57秒开始有一段疯狂的吉他的solo，这时还可以听到类似club里的青年男女舞客的情不自禁的狂欢之声，甚是过瘾。
exit 101充满了细碎的电子游戏声效和drum-bass节拍。
综观整个专集，可以看到一个典型的模式：
开头一段采样或电子声效，之后带出各种变化的鼓机声，持续十几秒之后就是ann kathrin luthi的声音。然后是在中段会有吉他噪音或工业噪音加入，最后是在ann kathrin luthi或流行，或压抑，或神经质的声音中结束。间或还有贯穿的bass夹杂在downbeat里。
最后附带一句，专集A面第三个单曲Demunication 被收录到了《She-A Female Trip Hop Experien》

《Any one on the air》
on the Air 中的ann kathrin luthi声音以及尾音的处理和Dolores O'Riordan十分地酷似，常常让我有一种不真实的错觉。且整个曲子旋律也极其类似cranberries风轻云淡的爱尔兰民谣的淳朴味道。如果说之前一张专集里的Innocent还只是让我有点感觉相似的话，那么这个专集里的on the Air简直就是可以用逼真形容了。因为这次在swandive找到了这个专集的歌词，使得自己终于可以理解ann在唱什么了。且可以进而理解整个专集的制作理念了。个人很喜欢“If we should die of loneliness /It was the phantom of progress”这句歌词，使人有强烈的孤单感。air在这里我觉得可以取广义：太空，宇宙，地球上的外空间。
thorn的ann kathrin luthi假音可以细品。
being in two places at the same time标题很有哲学命题的味道。
fall这里我想可以解释为一种沉迷或迷恋，深陷。我在这里说说自己的理解：作词者是说只要你一旦沉迷进一个爱情，你就会迷失自己不再独立，而事实是一年或两年之后你会感到你还是孤独一人。但是如果你清醒地选择独立的话，还是会感到孤独，因为独立本身就以为着要孤独。所以这个是一个复杂的矛盾。这里对孤独的诠释是在狭义的爱情里。
oblivion总算听到了一点节奏。
too far里中间扭曲的小孩子的声音采样，孤寂的老头的呼喊声，总让我想起孟克的《呐喊》。 venus前奏之后的56秒开始维持了6秒的一段极其迷幻之音虽然非常短暂，但足够回味很久。之后每小节的间隙会不断听到这段迷幻之音的重复。不得不承认ann用半rap的形式唱出第一段歌词确实非常符合歌词的意境，尤其是念到 ：so lustful / So painful / so good之间的停顿感和苍白感都让我为之一震。
Today的歌词很生活化和直白，应该是整个专集最容易理解的一首。尤其是末尾的一段：I've got a hundred books on my shelf but I still can not read/I've got a hundred thoughts on my mind but I still can not write/I've got a hundred treasures in a cave but don't have a light.使我又一次联想到了村上春树的短篇小说《眠》的故事。
a kind of escape中段的配器和声音的处理使得ann的呼喊充满了戾气，体现了一个女子拼命呼喊爱人的那种急切又焦虑的心情。
小结： 整个专集的歌词和ann的投入的吟唱使得专集的理念非常清晰：孤寂。 11首曲目从各个角度探讨了人和人之间的孤独感，疏离感（这个词语常见于王家卫的影评中）。相比较第一张大碟里比较注重音乐性以及实验性而言，这个第二张大碟则侧重在歌词和ann的诠释，作为音乐性和实验性都大大地减弱不少。
